A few weeks ago Matt and I hosted our annual Halloween Party! As most of you know we LOVE this holiday and go all out to celebrate. This year I had to wait to set up most of the decorations for the night since Matt had a guys night out the weekend before and I didn't want to blow the surprise. Otherwise, the house would have been ready since October 1st like last year. Our invitations were a simple hint to honor the "blood room" we set up.
The turn out for this party was smaller than we anticipated but the ones who came made the night a blast! We couldn't have had a better night with a great group of people! I made desserts and non-alcoholic drinks for us as the military guys where "on call" so they couldn't have boose. We had eyeballs, skeleton fingers, a dirt (pudding) cemetery, brain and mummy cupcakes, blood (jello) syringes, and bat cookies. We can not believe that this was our last Halloween here in Minot! I hope our next base enjoys the holiday so this tradition of ours can continue wherever we go! Matt and I went all out this year and were Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf (costume ideas were based on the recent movie: Red Riding Hood). Enjoy the pictures!
